Topic: In today's world, rapid technological advances have led to the creation of new devices intended to improve our lives. However, these developments have also brought certain problems, particularly for young people. It is widely believed that many children spend a large part of their day on smartphones, and there are several reasons why this behavior has become so common.

One major factor is the effect on the brain. Interaction with smartphones increases the secretion of serotonin, the “happiness hormone,” which can easily lead to addiction. Since children's willpower is not fully developed, this often results in dependence on these devices. Psychological factors also play a role. Sometimes a lack of hobbies or engaging activities affects children's mental health. Humans naturally tend to choose the easy way out, and children without hobbies often prefer activities that require minimal effort. This can contribute to psychological disorders and have a destructive effect on their mindset.

Another important factor is parenting. Nowadays, parents often allow children to use smartphones from a very young age, sometimes to distract them in crowded places. Giving phones to babies to stop them from crying can unintentionally lay the foundation for long-term phone dependence.

In my opinion, excessive smartphone use is a highly negative development. It can have devastating effects on young people due to psychological, behavioral, and neurological factors. To sum up, although research highlights the widespread impact of phone addiction, it is clear that this is not a positive trend.
