Do Students Learn Better Online or in a Classroom?

There is a common belief that some people think that online education is more effective than classroom education, while others defend that traditional classroom learning is better. This essay will discuss both these views and give my personal opinion.

 All students across the world had to take online education in 2020, when coronavirus occurred and limited access to outside world, forcing us to stay in our houses. It was the only solution to maintain pupils' constant lectures and keep students focused as it was at school. Online education gave them the flexibility of variety about what to learn and from whom. Moreover, it financially supported them as it lowered the budget for school and transportation. However, it affected students' productivity and led to failure. According to research, approximately 45% of the student population around the world has been affected devastatingly by the situation.

Traditional education style, on the other hand, increases focus and helps teachers to interact and educate students better. Face-to-face communication reduces distraction and provides a better study session. This case contributes to more effective study. Research has also shown that both lecturers of Pope Hill had more attractive lessons while using traditional teaching methods. Besides, many students agree that efficient study methods provide a more successful academic life.

To sum up, I personally believe that there must be a reason why traditional education methods have not changed for centuries. It has multiple advantages and contributes to a better permanent learning. Furthermore, no other solution can grant a useful understanding as much as face-to-face education does.
